Get the 'IPF Support Library' from http://www.softpres.org/download. Put the DLL in your (Win)UAE folder and use them like normal disks.

Hi TCD,
in the SPS download page I see two files for Windows (32-bit):
- ipflib Version 2.3
- ipflib Version 4.0

Which are the differences?

I see... thanks
I thought they were completely different releases (hence the presence of both of them), and not "only" 4.0 an improvement of 2.3...

But why from 2.3 to 4.0? Are there not intermediate releases?

I'm not familiar with the project, I just answered your direct question at me to the best of my knowledge. You'll have to wait for someone from the SPS project.

Most of the library releases go into testing and developers, and some are not released otherwise, due to feature requests, changes, bug fixes etc. to avoid confusion.
Also the older library requires significantly less computing resources than the new one (after all it does run on a 68k) cpu and memory wise.
2.3 is the oldest library that might be supported by applications, but images from #3000 require v4.0+ as they use encoding features not available in older libraries.

v3 had WDC emulator, v4 is an almost complete rewrite.
v4.2 will be required soon.
