OK! I've managed to script sometime in my downtime here. If the "ftp" (anonymous) user is online for more than 3 hours, they get a 1 hour block on their IP.

Just enough to give a window for other anonymous users to get on.

Ideas? Suggestions?

Edit: Whats with the forum doing double linebreaks these day?

There's a thread HERE related to the double line issue, it's since EAB changed to new servers

Remade the script that kicks anonymous users after 3 hours. It only blocks the IP for 10 minutes now, after you've been online for 3 hours, to allow others in.

However, next time it has to kick you to make room, its a 20 minutes block. After that, 30 minutes. And so on and so on.

Feels a bit less punishing until you actually attempt to stay on for several days on end.

Can you un arcihive the latest TOSEC Iso's in this folder:

/Commodore_Amiga/TOSEC/TOSEC Updates/TOSEC Release (v2018-04-01) updates/Amiga-ISO/

Then I can upload the new ones that are missing from the latest dats.

Feel free to make my account and admin one, then I can do some clean up on the folders.

Done. Do we still need the archives as well or can we save space and delete them?

OK, so they are all unarchived and not in the right place anyway (ie CDTV iso's mixed in with Amiga CD in the first directory checked)

I will just upload the complete set minus ACP and Workbench stuff.

So for the next 60 hours, with a fair wind, I will be uploading the Amiga CD TOSEC set to TOSEC/TOSEC-ISO.

The structure will follow that of the folders setup using the scripts provided by the TOSEC guys.

After will follow the CD32 and CDTV sets.

Then a bit of a clean up of the none TOSEC folder, removing all tosec stuff from the various iso folders.

Perhaps a silly question - does that mean that you are uploading them as the isos or as if just copying the files from a CD? Not sure if I am saying that in a way that makes sense. I mean one archive file for the entire CD or all of the individual files on the CD in the original directory structure. Still not sure if I'm saying that in a clear, understandable way

They are the tosec iso collection.

Each image is zipped, with each zip containing whatever files are required for the image, such as cue file, iso and audio files.

Thanks. It was the word "unarchived" that confused me. Confusion happens too often these days

UnRenamed Files - Commodore (v2018-09-30) upped to my user folder.

Amiga [UNK] contains 18505 files, I had to pack them to 500mb split zip files, or else I would have died of old age before upload was finished.

OK, so the entire collect of Amiga TOSEC-ISOs are now uploaded into the TOSEC folder (Minus workbench and ACP stuff as previously mentioned)

In the coming days I will move dupes to a folder somewhere and as Turran to run a scan on the folder to ensure that that are matches for the TOSEC release and then they can safely be removed.

User retrogamer is not eligible for an EAB FTP account.
You must have been active on the forums by posting for the past few days.

Your oldest post on the forums, when trying to register an account, can be no older than 5 days. Since you posted now to get help, you actually solved it yourself and could register fine
