If you don't know how to decompress / use then I've now put an .ADF in The Zone for you |

File DMS it's an Image Floppy compress and on WinUAE it can be used in the same way as ADF files without the need to convert
If you need to convert even on PC PC-Windows there is an excellent utility that allows you to convert with a click all DMS files included in a path, the Windows PC utility is called "XDMS" - File Bach Unpacks -> DMS-To ADF.BAT Attrib -r -s -h *.* /s XDMS U *.DMS Del *.DMS (this parameter will delete the .DMS files after conversion) |

its ok. ive mounted the adf so no need for converting anything. My main worry now is how to install. Ive already got cd32 emulation with my Squirrell scsi cd rom (sanyo). Will AsimCdFS mess anything up regarding that as quite a few of my cd32 games do work?
Im not sure what to pick on install. Adapti A1200 or Cdrom drive Scsi. I detected it with the built in software and it chose the number etc. is it safe to continue? thanks |

Che CD Filesystem use?, AsimCdFS is the best ever, it manages Audio CDs, Kodak CDs, HFS MAC CDs and much more.
To use AsimCdFS is very simple, you do not need to do an installation, just copy the Device in Devs, Filesystem CD in L, assign CDFS wherever you want. Once this is done, move your CD0 montlist wherever you want, edit a copy of your "CD0 montlist" and replace your CD Flesystem with AsimCdF. |

well... adding AsimCDFS to the startup made my A1200 unusable. Im glad i made a VHD back up of my CF hdd before i went ahead.
I wonder... why is the Amiga such a frustrating machine to use? |

trydowave let's go to order:
SYS:devs/DOSDrivers/CD0 -> Amiga OS Mount Automatically CD-ROM SYS:WBStartup/CD0 -> Amiga OS Mount Automatically CD-ROM Add Command "Mount CD0:" Startup-sequence or User-Startup -> Amiga OS Mount Automatically CD-ROM SYS:Storage/DOSDrivers/CD0 -> Amiga OS No Mount Automatically CD-ROM If you copy all the mountlist in "SYS:Storage/DOSDrivers" you can manually mount Mountlist (CD0, PC0, CDF0 etc..) from a Shell or icon (see video above) For manual installation see screenshot: Last edited by AMIGASYSTEM; 21 September 2018 at 08:14. |
