RP9 to ADF?
Hi, I have a big collection of Amiga demos in RP9 format. Is there any way I can convert them back to ADF? I want to import them into the LaunchBox frontend and I want to avoid grabbing them all again if i can help it.
Thanks for any hlp |

RP9 is not really a format. It's just a zip file with .rp9 file-extension. Simply open the file with 7zip (or whatever prog you use on that matter).
If it won't open change the file-extension to .zip first. |

Just double click on it. It'll play it in Amiga Forever and from there you can right click on the played file to add it to AF.

@MarioMario456
Taylan Can asks about the other way around, adf to rp9. Changing the rp9 extension to ZIP does not help in that case. @Taylan Can Have you installed any other "ADF" related application after installing AF, or maybe just refused to add .ADF to the Associated File Types while installing AF? Open AF and select "Tools" -> "Options", Scroll down the General Tab and make sure at "Global Settings" "Associated File Types" the Checkbox at ".adf Amiga Floppy Disk Image" is checked. With that setting, just double clicking any .adf file opens a "convert to RP9" window where I can set the Amiga system and other emulation detail (Model, Kickstart version, etc. to whatever system the adf is meant to boot with) and clicking OK will start the emulation. At least here on my Windows 10 PC. |
