it was ment to be a salute to Jari Eskelinen - for creating a workaround.
at least there is a way to use fpu demanding software.
we have to see how it will evolve.

#1) Jari is the author of the SoftFPU - scroll down a bit to see his posting.

GOLD3 bring-up - Slam Tilt AGA

The video recording was made by the HDMI output or directly from OS3 (what I believe impossible)

True, and a SoftFPU is definitely a great thing for compatibility. Enough applications might just use FPU code in some non-performance critical areas that its fine.

One use case that many people want a 060/AGA setup for is watching Demoscene productions, and for that Vampire wont be that great :-(

It isn't now but it might be in the future. After more development, the SoftFPU should become significantly faster and maybe even fast enough to run 060 demos at a decent speed.

OMG! I agree with Kolla! That one time of the year

Anyhow; Yeah, for a day to day use, I know I personally go thru alot of PDFs in addition to Spreadsheet usage.
