ClassicWB OS39 : Default tool for doc FileTypes
I noticed the following strange behaviour on my CWB OS39 install :
When clicking on a readme, text or txt file, an error will sometimes pops up -> Unable to open your tool "System:Utilities/Multiview". The strange thing is that it seems to happen at random, for some readme and txt files clicking the file will correctly result in JanoEditor to open, for others the above error is displayed. The DefIcon actions for the doc FileType is set to PATTERN #?(.doc|.text|readme#?) , and the Default Tool for Workbenchrefs/Env-Archive/Sys/def_doc is correctly set to A-Programs:JanoEditor/JanoEditor Why aren't readme, text and txt files alway opened by JanoEditor? The default tool for the doc filetype is set to JanoEditor in DefIcons, so it should always work, not? Why is the system trying to incorrectly use the tool "System:Utilities/Multiview" for some files when it's not defined anywhere? Last edited by Amon_RA; 01 January 2016 at 17:53. |
