Fate - Gates of dawn (WHDload) - Cursor stop to work
Hi.
Anyone else have problem with cursor in WHDload version of Fate - Gates of dawn? It stoped to work for me. Will try older WinUAE, becouse it was working fine last time i tryed it. Last edited by hoborg; 13 April 2013 at 12:15. |

Seems to work fine (both english and german version).
Mouse did work strangely in this game in some very old UAE version. |

OK, i track down where it broke for me. in WinUAE 2.4.0 cursor is working, but in 2.4.1 (or newer) is not. Durning WHDload screen, i can move by cursor just fine, but in game only buttons works, cursor do not move.
Can it be in some settings? I do not have such issue in any other game i tryed yet. |

You haven't posted any logs and/or configuration details. Guess even Toni's crystal ball can't help here

Ok, i added my config file.
Just to make it clear - i am using my own installer per every game, and configuration file is generated automatically, so it can look "wierd" on first look. |

2.4.1 works fine too.
Does adf version work with standard a500 config? |

OK, it seems i found it. Problem is in "CPU Emulation speed" setting. Fastest possible works, but game is unpleable, so i used Approximate A500..." setting. Will try to locate exact value.

It isn't emulation problem if disk version works with standard configuration. Other CPU speed setting internal timing can and will change between versions.
