WHDLoad Midnight Resistance v1.3

Oke... this question is more not game related...

New whdload slave of midnight resistance has now files support... i was wondering if it is possible somehow to convert the v1.2 Disk.1 to these files. Since the file is >901120 i guess it's not std. adf...

Does anyone know what's the difference between the "first" and the aforementioned "second version"? I always thought that Ocean released only one version of this game. Seems to refer to the 'HitSquad' version mentioned later on. I don't know what 'HitSquad' is.

The first version is the original Ocean release in 1990. The second is the budget release in 1992, under Ocean's 'The Hit Squad' label.

There may not be a difference between versions - it's probably just that two people are credited with sending their images.

I can upload the files needed for the v1.3 of the install, if you like.

Hmm, I too have 1.2 version of it. On A1200 (and all AGA amigas) the 1.2 WHDLoad version has only half bright colours in game - they are really dark compared to the original (or played on an ECS amiga)... I wonder if in 1.3 this bug was fixed (no mention of it in the docs)...

I think that the Midnight Resistance colours are quite dark normally.

Check the Zone for the files and tell me if there are any problems. I used my original Hit Squad budget version to get the files.

This cracked stuff usually causes problems with WHD installers. Sooner or later. TIA.

Damn, you are right... checked it with winuae now and even on KS13 and ECS emulation it has darker colours... I was 100% there was something wrong on my A1200 though.

You don't need the images anymore for the v1.3 install...
