Finally watched a movie worth to mention here
It's Kopps. Nice swedish movie with one 'must see' scene/picture. Funny and with it's own mood. You should give this one a chance folks

van helsing, watch it regularly But that is just an excellent action movie with nice over the top acting, especially dracula. A few very nice touches also, for example the black & white section.

I have to see the sequel of Underground. Anyway, I did not like the idea that vampires are not living dead

yeah both movies are excellent and there are going to be two more, one which is a prequel focusing more on the lycans and the fourth is a sequel again. Or so wikipedia states, and we all know to take it with a grain of salt

In the mean time you might be able to help me to remember one movie.

All I remember was that they cut hand of some women-pharaoh (or something like that) and that hand was trying to find her. (they throw it to dogs iirc)

Then I forget most of the stuff except that they tried to review that pharao. (or it tried it self, can't remember)

Do you remember what movie was that?

i saw 2 movies recently that i forgot to report:

- Silk (i saw 10 minutes of it) and it bored me a lot.

- Youth without Youth.
my humble opinion is that this one is a shitty movie, not particularly well narrated, with crappy characters (the actors are really good, nevertheless), based on a thesis that tries to blurt out every 5 seconds.

the thesis in itself is shitty.

I read a very tiny bit of Mircea Eliade (a famed theologist) to know that theology or philosophy make poor stories. this one is a whole new chapter in crappy stories. my opinion.

Underworld - absolute shite. It's sequels, ditto.
Van Helsing: entertaining shite! Look at Beckinsale's top in that - the red checks are positioned right where her nipples would be; this is intentional, so that when looking at her face your peripheral vision makes it appear that she's got her tits out. Yes it makes for nice viewing but it's a tad tawdry. It's not as if we can't already see how unfeasibly fit she is without emphasis!
Notice the super-fit 'brides' of Dracula too? I'm not sure who was hottest!
A great film for a late night laugh with a load of mates.

Van Helsing was pure crap, but i like Beckinsale in her Underworld role. Pretty tough and sexy.

I don't care about this prequel with the hot Rhona Mitra, but looking forward to watch another part with Kate.

Mitra was cool in Doomsday. Pretty entertaining ride through the whole action/sci-fi/end-time movie genres.

It all depends why do you watch movie.

If you watch all movies like critics (and you seem to be one), then of course, there is not a lot of good movie for you to see here in the States.

But if you watch it for what it was intended for (entertainment of course) then you would not have such a large objection about Beckinsale's (. )( .)

Just to complete this discovery, you're either poet (ghay) or just purely ghay.

Wonder what would you say for Interview with the Vampire? Bullshit because of Tom Cruise's boobs or because he is Scientologyst.

Bullshit, because Cruise and Pitt looked like the gayest vampires ever.

I'm sure he loved Armand (Antonio Banderas) in that movie - Most ghayisth character ever in Vampire movies - almost comparable with Castlevania manga characters.

I watched the live action series of Jikogu Soujo (Hell Girl). The stories are more mature than the stories you can see in the anime, but I prefer the anime anyway. Even 'cause they choose for role of the main character (Emna Ai, the Hell Girl) an idol who don't look like the main character of the anime.

That whole post is wrong on so many levels, I would feel ashamed to make any further comment on it.
