Multiple inputs on the Commodore 1084s RGB in port??

The Commodore 1084s has a 6 pin RGB-in video port. A number of computers (eg 2000, 3000, 4000) have a 23 pin RGB to 6 pin Din which is compatible so I would like to connect each computer (one at a time of course) to this 1084s port then switch at will between computers. I've looked for splitters and data switches and seems - short of physically plugging and unplugging the cable from each computer to the monitor - there is nothing out there. Any ideas?

I have done this. I have made up a scart lead for my 1084S (i.e scart one end 6 pin din the other) which connects to the output of a scart splitter.

Then I have bought rgb or composite scart leads for all my machines and connected them into the scart splitter.

If you have RGB 23 pin port to SCART RGB cables for your Amigas, then an RGB SCART to 1084 cable, you could use one of these:

I did something slightly different, since I had a bunch of VGA switch-boxes around.

I've made a VGA cable for each machine I wanted to connect via RGB (currently: A500, Atari STE and soon Amstrad CPC & Sinclair 128/+2) and routed them through a 4-way mechanical VGA switcher.
The switcher is connected to my C=1084 via VGA->SCART cable.

Audio goes through a different switch-box to a stereo system.
Its all still WIP and I keep changing things around on a weekly basis...

Thanks for all the good suggestions... er but theres one problem. My 1080s monitor has no SCART input, just CVBS (ie RGB) , TTL RGB and 6 pin RGB-in Dim.

As we have said, you need to get yourself a cable that goes from SCART to your 6 pin analog RGB DIN connector, or make one yourself.

CVBS isn't RGB, CVBS is composite.

Sorry for the slow uptake - I need to read more carefully but the word 'Scart' distracted me.

and so the penny drops. I had no idea such a creature existed as ' SCART to 6 pin analog RGB DIN connector cable'. I have to say it seems like a roundabout solution but if thats what it takes to get 3 or 4 computers playing nice then thats what it takes.

I don't think such a creature exists, but it's just a matter of sourcing a female SCART connector and soldering six wires.

could be fun to use a Genlock instead of a switch, and overlay one Amiga's graphics on top of another's.
