Icaros and 68k integration

I thought it would be interesting for some here so I have created a page showing Icaros and Amibridge (68k integration) expecially using Aros 68k and Rom Replacements

http://www.natami-news.de/html/icaros.html

Do you know, if original ROMs can be used with Amibridge, instead of the replacement Rom?

Yes they can. There is a script in Icaros to install AmigaForever (instead of the preinstalled Aros 68k). Aros 68k is tighter integrated than 3.X, f.e. are local, screenmode prefs shared between X86 and 68k.

On the page I have concentrated on the preinstalled components. There is a description in the manual how to install AmigaForever in it (manual is a PDF on the download-page)

Does "tighter integrated" mean better compability?

I mean, is the replacement so good, that a kickstart 1.3 and/or 3.1 rom makes no sense anymore and all games will run 100% without?

No it means that certain preferences like locale or screenmode are shared between Host (X86) and Client (68k).

Replacement ROM is not 100% compatible. I have created a page with compatible software (expecially games) that I tested with my 68k distribution "Aros Vision"

http://www.natami-news.de/html/compatibility.html

If you want a 100% compatible solution and you have AmigaForever than it is better to install it.
