Are the ACA1230's sold out? I don't see the 28mhz version listed anymore on amigakit, just the 56mhz version.

Later,

I don't know if asking here, and please don't start a thread, but... I've never had an A600. What's so great that everybody ask about their accelerators, much more than for A1200? It's so great what they can do or it's just that Never has come such a great ACA for them?

EDIT: In doubt for my knowledges, see my Avatar...

hola Cuco que tal tu y tu jefe J.L. Torrente ?

Such a tiny Amiga could become a real beast once expanded : 68030+Fast RAM+Indivision ECS+USB via clockport etc. :

I think it's the small form factor of the 600 that people most like along with the 1200 styling.

It was the last ECS/OCS desktop machine too.

Probablemente "apatrullando la ciudá".

Such a tiny miggy with these addons would be awesome, indeed.

Quería dar un toque de humor casposo y ¿por qué no empezar por uno mismo? Hubiera puesto al gran Torrente, pero este avatar es más ganso, friki...

I wanted to add a touch of spanish humour here... Why not starting by oneself?
I would have put Torrente itself, but this avatar is more freak...

28MHz versions are a bit late, yes. However, they're leaving Germany today, so they'll make it before Xmas.

For all cards, the ACATune tool is required. I currently don't have the time to update the web page, but the tool is already on the server:

http://www.icomp.de/t/bin/ACATune_V10.lha

Please read the full documentation first.

If there are any questions concerning the ACATune tool, feel free to ask here.

For those who are still waiting for their cards, you can also already install and add the tool to your startup-sequence, since it will only activate itself if an ACA card was detected.

A few notes concerning Maprom.

To map an internal 512K Kickstart, add the following line to the startup sequence:

ACATune -maprom * -cache on -burst on >NIL:

For those with an 1MB internal rom, use the following line:

ACATune -maprom ** -cache on -burst on >NIL:

For those who like to load a 256K/512K/1MB rom from harddisc, use the following line:

ACATune -maprom <romfile> -cache on -burst on >NIL:

Note that <romfile> is the name of the file, including the full path. After loading, the Amiga is rebooted with the new OS.

Every rom being loaded is reset-proof and wont be overwritten by ACATune. To deactivate the maprom feature in order to load a different rom, use:

ACATune -maprom off

The "cache" and "burst" paramenters are replacements for the CPU command.

The tool should always be the first program being loaded from startup-sequence.

At the moment, the tool lacks an integrated GUI, which is being included in the next release.

Keeping off topic Probably would be a good idea to start a new thread for the Chameleon..
I've also got a a few question on it for Jens,
Wondering if there will be a breakout cable for the joystick ports when the unit is used in stand alone mode? and if the 1541 emulation, will it be true with cable to the IEC bus?

Thanks!
