Sadly made it to the British tabloid press, several publications, The Sun, etc, but all inked to the original story in the Scottish Daily Record

Passed away due to Covid, was un-vaccinated as he had a phobia of needles. This story was told by his Wife, so not speculation. She told the story to warn other people, so wanted the news out there. Appears he had an un-diagnosed lung condition also. Sadly also leaves 2 x children of 15 and just 3

Stewart was the producer on a couple of games I worked on at Runecraft. Such a funny, personable bloke. I'd not seen him for years, but it still really shocked me to hear of his passing. RIP Stewart.

He was a great guy, generous, funny and deeply passionate about games and the UK game dev scene. Massive loss, as he's helped countless people over the years.

Proud to call him a friend. Will miss him a lot. RIP.

That's the extra condition I was looking for, although a very unexpected one. That's extra sad. The phobia was likely the killer in this case

Although with a lung condition... you never know.
