Suggestion for forums - selectable black theme
Just thought I'd throw this out there, personally I would love the ability to change the background color here on EAB to black... I've never liked how nearly every site you go to is bright white.
Not a very big deal of course and I have no idea how much work something like this would be... it might be a lot of work for all I know, and if that is the case, it's probably not worth it. I'm currently using a Firefox script that inverts the colors which does work pretty well, but it's not perfect (some display errors etc). |

@Laffer
Pending on the settings there should be a selectable skill feature available to the users. EAB I believe is running VB3 which does have the ability for the site developers to upload a many different themes for the site - they can lock the theme or default a theme for the members from a selection of others. Have a look in your profile options, if its enabled you should find the ability to switch uploaded themes. |

Yes, EAB does have a function available for using different skins - http://eab.abime.net/profile.php?do=editoptions (Go right to the bottom.)
Currently though there's only two skins available - the default EAB3 one and EAB2 (which looks a bit rubbish in my opinion). Guess it depends if RCK thinks it's worth adding different skins. |

RCK said he thinks I'm the only one on the whole board to do so, but EAB2 skin is the original and best!!! Just call me a traditionalist, but I can't get a connection to the old theme out of my head. I hated it when the pascal bright theme hit these boards. RCK was very kind in offering me the old theme back. Perhaps he might add a less bright theme for you too! |

But I also like the possibility of more themes for EAB. |

I agree it's awesome!!!
It's hard core retro EAB, before it went all girly with shaded bright colours. The one thing I didn't want to keep - the small avatars, remained however. I am alone in this. But I am happy. |
