I didn't know these two tools, so I tried them.
- Grotag cannot save a full chapter in a single file nor can manage multifile guides (like the AHRM is). - RDAG2HTML creates a full chapter from various AG nodes simply joining the files together with no "intelligent" processing (for example removing links to HTML files joined or processing images in order to have them in the resulting file). Unfortunately if not better tool is available this shall be done manually, the HTML generated by these tools would not reduce significantly the task. EDIT: on a second thought it may be a better starting point the HTML generated by RDAG2HTML, I'm doing some tests. Last edited by jman; 16 August 2011 at 02:05. |

Ok, after a couple of more tests I've reached a 'dead' end, so to say.
Problem is, I can generate the workflow needed to format a clean HTML file per chapter but there are two issues: 1) can't split pages, age splitting feature of HTML are suboptimal, I should revert to another file format before continuing. 2) how to split pages? If I don't have a physical/digital copy of the book I don't know where (example) the content of page 56 ends and the content of page 57 starts. This is a task that requires a physical copy of the book on the desk at some point. One could probably go through the whole long task of having a master, but point 2 is a showstopper. I've heard that someone here has the book I need to recreate, will ask for his opinion/availability in helping. |

I still have the sources for WinGuide but a far superior product AGWViewer came out last year with integrated HTML conversion so I figured no-one would need me to post them?

I need a tool that could manage export of multipage guide files into a single HTML (and that is managed by RDAG2HTML) but then I realized of the difficulties of refactoring the original pages without the original as a reference. This said, others will surely find AGWViever suitable for their needs. |

There is already a PDF version of RKHRM on the server.
/Doc/App_Hardware/Programming Hardware AmigaHardRefManual.pdf.7z - but we need an editable version and verified version with original. |

The PDF version of the scan pages of the second edition can be found quite commonly; the printed copy as well. |
