Village Tronic Concierto IV Soundcard - Is It That BAD?!?!?!

Yo!

I am looking at the option of getting a Concierto sound board for my Picasso IV so i gain an extra zorro slot. I am currently using a Sunrize AD516. My question is i have heard the Concierto is pretty bad and basic. Is it that bad? Can it play mp3 files decently?

Cheers

It will play mp3 files with the same decency as it will any other bit stream. If you're asking will it decode the MP3 files for you, then no.

Basically it's built like and sounds like any generic PCI sound card from the 90s. Perhaps the components are of higher tolerance, perhaps not.
