Amiga360 + Action Replay 3 freeze button (Xbox360)
I returned to poke around with Lantus' great - but unfortunately unfinished - P-UAE based emulator and configured the Action Replay rom to be used as a cart.
Lo and behold, it works (you can see the Action Replay 3 logo when rebooting) but I can't figure out how to freeze the thing. The only online documentation I found was for FS-UAE to press F12+A but this doesn't seem to cut it here. Suggestions? |

On WinUAE, standard key is PAGEUP.

How exactly are you using action replay? Booting the action replay.adf via the emulator on 360. Then Booting a standard game adf and it works?

Lantus, now that you're around, could you shed some light on a two configuration issues I've struggled with Amiga360:
1) Are the Joypad input functions hard coded or can they be changed in the configuration? (similar to what's listed here http://fs-uae.net/input-actions). Having a space bar or Esc mapped to the joypad would come in handy with some games 2) There's Save States entry in the main menu, but saving a state does not add any entries here. Is this an unfinished feature or is there something awry with my configuration? Cheers also from here for the best Amiga emulator, very easy to use when configured right. In case anyone's interested, I managed to get the save games working.
What you have to do is boot up UAE on the computer and create a few dummy save game (.uss) files and put the to the Amiga360 SAVE folder, which is empty by default. After this the (dummy) save games are visible in Amiga360 and you can overwrite / rename the files with your saves. |
