Question Gotek sound emulation

I have gotek drive set up from amigakit couple of years now. It came with oled, rotary encoder and flashfloppy 3.12a firmware. I use it as internal df0 on an A500. I cant get any sound from drive. Do i have to reflash it and enable sound somehow? Is there such an option when flashing the drive?
The buzzer i use is a 12v piezo

I am pretty sure the device's firmware is FlashFloppy v3.12a. I have successfully flashed the latest stable version v3.30 though still no luck. I think the piezo buzzer should be 5V and NOT 12V as the one I'm using now. Can someone confirm that 5V is the right one?

Yes, 5V. There are both active and passive speakers. IIRC the one that will work without a transistor is the passive one.
