Free to good home - rmb fix usb mouse adapter
Every now and again I make a "cock-up" and end up having to throw what should be a nice retro toy into the reject bin.
That's a waste so I'm not going to do that any more. Instead I am going to offer it to you guys free of charge. Here we have a USB (PS/2 compatible) Amiga mouse adapter. It's the version that fixes the right mouse button problem with some A1200s. I accidentally soldered the PIC in the wrong way round, so you will need to take it out again, and refit it the right way round. I normally sell these for £14.49. I took the opportunity to improve the design with this adapter, the AM/AT jumpers are much smaller and hidden underneath. The capacitor has also been moved underneath and changed to a surface-mount. The picture shows a socketed IC but the one I am giving away has a soldered-in IC. The first person to PM me gets it. You will just need to pay the shipping cost. Yep, Bastich has got it.
Wait a minute...I have some more goodies in my box... I've got another one! Exactly the same problem! I can't even remember doing this.... PM me (not Bastich though, somebody else's turn). Last edited by Mounty; 10 August 2015 at 12:10. |

I have two USB (PS/2 compatable) mouse adapters. They are not the RMB fix type. I think what's wrong with these, I burned the fw with the wrong fuse settings. So it's a desoldering job or in-circuit programming.
Looks like Arnie is having one, so that leaves one more.. |
