Treasures of the Savage Frontier

Hello, does anybody know how to transfer characters from Gateway to the Savage Frontier to Treasures? I extracted the .adfs on the miggy and copied all the files to the HD. The game runs fine but I'm not able to transfer characters over. I tried copying the Gateway save directory to 'oldsave' and 'save' in Treasures but it doesnt load it. Gives the message 'bad save'

There is a proggie called 'savediskultility' in the treasures directory but this runs some sort of batch file/scipt and throws up heaps of errors..

any help welcome
