The GUI Themes are not working, will this be fixed one time? :-)
And could it be possible that the 1.4.0 040 release is faster than the 1.8.1 060/fpu release on Vampire 500 x11 core? |

If you are talking about my old 68k ports (up to version 1.5) then they are doing a realtime color conversion from 65k colors down to 256 using a hard-coded mapping table so they only support the default color scheme (theme assets are all 16 bit). For newer versions of ScummVM (Vampire) it probably makes sense to just use a 16 bit screen mode and be done with it. As far as performance goes, in most cases a newer build of any open source engine will get more demanding as the team add more advanced features. I think the current version of ScummVM would be unplayable on a real Amiga 030 even if you optimized it to hell and back. This is why I had to base the OCS/ECS version of ScummVM on ScummVM version 1.2 just to try and get it somewhat usable on real hardware. Last edited by NovaCoder; 28 March 2019 at 01:16. |

ScummModern theme from Novacoder's classic releases seemed to work ok on an 060. Use the one from his distribution. |

Looking for a bit of a Hail Mary here folks...
I have a Yamaha TG100 connected up via a Datel Midimaster interface. I'm running OS3.1.4 on an A1200 with Blizzard 1260 and 128Mb Fast RAM and Indivision ACA Mk2 Cr. I can get ScummVM 060 to open and successfully loaded The Dig from the original PC game disc. I have the camd.library installed. I'm selecting CAMD in the audio and MIDI preferences, however I'm not getting any MIDI audio. Is there a definitive guide to setting up the software side on the Amiga (MIDI port prefs, CAMD and ScummVM), or does anyone have any experience with the TG100 - perhaps I need to change a setting on that or something? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance, AndyC |

It took me a bit of fiddling with the CAMD preferences to get it working on my A1200, I remember that much! [ Show youtube player ] BTW if you have a 1260 and a MIDI device you can also check out my other 060 ports that support MIDI http://aminet.net/package/game/role/Exult_AGA http://aminet.net/package/game/strat/OpenDune_AGA http://aminet.net/package/misc/emu/DOSBox_AGA Last edited by NovaCoder; 23 June 2020 at 02:45. |

Is there a chance to get again a new Novacoder ScummVM version? :-) I am still using RTG 1.5.0 version, but there are some nice games not working with it.

Doesn't The Dig use exclusively CDDA/samples and no MIDI whatsoever? |

Gaah!!!
I have MI1, MI2 and Full Throttle on PC disc - do any of those use MIDI? I was able to play a sample MIDI file no problem using CAMD Tools, so I know the hardware element is OK :-) Cheers, AndyC |

Can confirm that MI2 had lovely MIDI audio, but I couldn't get a peep out of MI2. Still, progress!!!

Is there an explanation why „Inherit the Earth: Quest for the Orb“ is not working with 1.5 and also not with 2.1.2? Normally it should work with both versions, but the Amiga releases are not recognizing the game, the Mac version 2.1.2 of ScummVM is recognizing it.
