My nickname stands for Amiga Lunatic Kick Off International Superstar. In addition, it's the interface I created in the adventure game I'm making: Advanced Language Kit and Interface System. As it happens, it's also my first name. Go figure.
21 is for the football team I support, AEK Athens. It's our favorite gate. |

There's always one in every forum who's eager to point that out.. not to mention Swedish girls in Greek islands during summer holidays.

Mine's boring.. People called me Jope since the 7th grade and I started using it online sometime around 1995..
Before that I was Bulldozer on the 'net, but I lost that handle in an IRC nick quarrel to another Finnish guy. :-) Oh and the name was derived from my surname. Last edited by Jope; 02 November 2004 at 08:50. |

My nick is an old school nick, the way it came about was my surname was shortened to wol, and as most people where i live finish questions with eh? (phoneticly a), it then became A-wol. plus im often Absent Without leave.
plus it's really easy to type. even when im drunk. [EDITED for you own protection! - PeanutUK] boring really. Last edited by Peanutuk; 03 November 2004 at 09:32. |

Mine comes from a christmas present years ago: One brother had brought me classic space trading game Elite for the Amiga for Christmas, and the youngest brother had seen it, and wanted to spoil the surprise for me... Only he couldn't pronounce the game title; Apparently I was getting "Titler" for Christmas. On and on he'd go about "Titler", whilst everyone laughed and tried to work out what he meant... Needless to say, on the 25th, Commander Titler took his first flight in a Cobra Mk. III, and I've used the name online ever since.

Squirminator was the name of the first worm in my team in Worms, and became my Alias in the Worms community. WHen I tried to register the username on Worms Armageddon's WormNET it was taken, so I rather halfheartedly added the "2k" at the end of it. It's been my online name ever since (well, I used to be Benjadood, but I've phased that out).
Squirminator is, of course, a reference to the movie "The Terminator" but with a Wormy slant. |

Well, as some of you oldskool role-playing enthusiasts know, I started using the alias Mangar after playing Bards Tale back in the day. Mangar was the evil wizard that terrorized the small village of Skara Brae in the original Bards Tale.
My alias in amiga scene back in the day was The Mighty Thor derived from the comic book of the same name. When I stumbled across the emulation scene I was tired of my old alias and switched to Mangar which I've used off and on in the past. Only problem with it is when some people misread it and call me Manager. :P |

I was a Motor Mechanic at the time and CB Radio had just made the scene here in the UK so in trying to find a Handle for myself the name Synchro came to mind from a gearbox componant i was actually fitting that day ...I figured its not one anyone else would have and i could always alter it to "SingCrow" if i wanted.
When i started Mapping for Eliteforce i extended it to Synchromesh to which i am more commonly known on the net Last edited by synchro; 09 November 2004 at 14:28. |

Mine is a popular Maltese surname (which is my own surname) with a few letters changed to give it more jazz.

Relative died on the Sir Galahad a British Troop ship when it was hit by an Argentinian Exocet Missile during the Falklands Conflict.... only a slightly more pointless war than the others that have followed!

I had bought some various stuff downtown, carrying it in a little bag, but once I didn't watch and my tea fell on the ground, called sikkim in Hindi (it was Indian tea) (And well, the double-k isn't heard when speaking ) Some younger turkish (!) woman told me that something has just dropped down from my bag and I said thank you, however, seeing the broad grin in her face I knew that something special must have occurred.... "You cannot imagine what SIKIM means in Turkish, can you?" *end of story* Quote:
