sound MOD files

Hello,

I was wondering anyone knows if they make sound mod files?

I want to include them in a game I am making.

Do these actually exist?

Thanks

There are many. SoundTracker, ProTracker, MED, OctaMED, NoiseTracker are just a few.

I use ProTracker and occasionally OctaMED. On Windows I use Modplug Tracker

You want music modules for your game?

Do these actually exist?

I should clarify what I'm trying to do. I'm programming a color Maximite 2 and even though it plays WAV and MP3 files I need to be able to play multiple sound files at the same time because playing MOD files allows them to played in 4 channels.

So for my shooter, I need a shooting sound and explosion sounds to be played on different channels and mods will let me do that.

I still have mods on my Amiga just never used them for game sounds.

What programming language are you using?

Using mod files to play your SFX isn't ideal.
