A1200 won't always boot with 060 installed
About 50 % of the time when this machine is switched on it powers up but it does nothing at all. Black screen, no loading. Switch it off and on again and it boots up fine.. I'm using an A500 PSU so I don't think lack of power would be an issue, or am I wrong?

i had the same problem with my apollo 1240, it was the crystal not making contact in its socket properly....solved by a bit of tape over the crystal to hold it firmly in place

The fan was playing up so I've removed it and clocked it back to 50mhz. Since doing this the problem seems to have disappeared, I'm not sure if it is because of the lower clock speed or the lack of fan though.

i should imagine it was clocking it down that has sorted it.....it could be the memory couldnt handle the faster timings.
