No sound when Fullscreen + Low Latency + PAL...

Hi!

This is one strange bug in my side, i am using WinUAE 3.6.1 and the quickstart configuration for the classic A500 system (0.5 Chip + 0.5 Slow).

The only changes that i made, are choosing in the Display tab the next options:
* Fullscreen : It's independent of the resolution that i select, but i always choose the monitor native one.
* Low-sync

Until that moment, i have sound and the cpu gets around 50-60% in the WinUAE led displays, but in the moment that i choose 50 Hz PAL refresh rate, the i lose all the sound.

I can choose other sound driver, but the problem is the same, no sound. And when i look in the sound tab, it always appears the sound emulation is "Disabled, but emulated". I have re-enabled but no luck, and no lock either if i change the sound buffer size.

The monitor supports 50Hz and i was a PAL guy, because that everything looks wrong if i use NTSC :P

I have attached a few logs, where i choose different sound drivers, but the problem looks always the same, that the sound device can not be initialized with success:
Code:
.
.
.
WASAPI: GetDevice(NULL) 80070490
Sorry, can't initialize sound.
.
.
.
21-483 [451 000-031]: WASAPI: GetCurrentPadding() 88890004
21-501 [451 087-202]: WASAPI: GetDevice(NULL) 80070490
21-501 [451 087-202]: Reopen sound failed. Retrying with default device.
21-502 [451 087-202]: WASAPI: GetDevice(NULL) 80070490
.
.
.
PASOUND: sound format not supported, ch=44100, rate=2. Invalid device
Sorry, can't initialize sound.

44-594 [910 227-264]: WASAPI: GetDevice(NULL) 80070490

Maybe my machine is not enough for this accuracy. Thanks for taking a look

You might try setting frequency to 48000.

Errors make no sense.

88890004 = AUDCLNT_E_DEVICE_INVALIDATED. Which means audio device disappeared/was removed/disconnected..

Exactly, Toni, it makes not sense at all.

I launch WinUAE, choose A500 put a floppy and I get sound; then F12 and I set fullscreen, low sync and PAL then return and not more sound; F12 again and I can see that sound is emulated but disabled, I re-enable the sound and return to the Amiga and not sound; F12 again and I change from fullscreen to full-window, return to the Amiga and sound returns.

The machine is an Intel NUC 6i5SYK (that means everything is embedded, sound, Ethernet, Bluetooth, ... and I am using the last intel drivers too) and the monitor is an ASUS HDMI that you can rotate 90 degrees (perfect for vertical arcades, hehehe) and supports 50 Hz.

It takes one second for setting that frequency (as old multi sync monitors), but it works and you can see in the monitor menu that frequency is correct and Amiga looks so smooth that a led screen can be).

Is there any test that I can do for helping to discover this strange thing?

Does it only happen in 50Hz?

No, the sound only works with "Default refresh rate"... at least works in one mode, but WTF?!?!?

For the rest -25Hz PAL(50i), 29Hz (58i), 30 Hz NTSC (60i), 50 Hz PAL, 59 Hz, 60 Hz NTSC-, i don't get sound at all. One interesting thing is that except in 50 Hz PAL (where is set to that frequency), the monitor always says that is set at 60 Hz.

And as i said before, the only additional things that i set from A500 Quickstart are Fullscreen Native (1920*1080*32) and Low latency Vsync.

The monitor is an Asus PB238Q.
