Android Tablet Question

Anybody own an android table ?

My brother owns an older Samsung 10.1 and has the wireless KB + Padded Case to go along with it.

I've played around with it some and it does seem very nice indeed.

Just looking for a device to move my Steam Guard over onto instead of running Bluestacks.

Any thoughts ?

Jimmijo is already using Bluestacks, in other words, he emulates Android device on windows pc.

As for tablet, we have multiple droid devices (Samsung kids tablets, Amazon Fire (this is story for itself) as well some old droid phones for different stuff. Price of them is really down, worth invest some money for nice tablet, and if you are into games like Elite Dangerous - or some other ones that support power grid - you can use tablet as nice quick action controller - additional buttons.

From what I remember, you can use it also to display status and settings from your mobo, if you went with one you posted link long time ago.

I am thinking to get Fire HD8, that I am planning to install Google Store to be able to have access to my google library, rather then Amazon store only. I have 7 inch one, and I like it, specially price (they are ~80 for HD8 and 40 bucks for regular 7" tablet)

My son also has Amazon kids tablet (same as regular tablet, with large protection cover) that with Amazon prime allows him to play Amazon underground games for free, with all in-game purchase being also free. (On his other Samsung kids tablet I had to replace screen already 2 times - not bad as price is just around 12bucks for screen, but quality is not that great )

For old mags scans, I still use my 10" iPad (first generation) - nice way to be able to browse some gaming mags from 80s and / or comics.

EDIT: One more things - through my library I have access to OnePlay - and they have extensive Android library that with library access you get for free. (VIP status) It is worth checking with your library if they have membership for OnePlay. (I know for couple of them already having it as part of digital offerings)

Well if you're going to get a 2nd hand older tablet: don't get an Asus Transformer. What a piece of shit. With the last OS updates installed on it, it becomes a jerk-o-matic.
