No IPF (4.2) support for E-UAE?
I've installed the latest IPF support library on my Debian system and tried the good old E-UAE with some IPF images which didn't work. Apparently E-UAE still searches the old libcapsimage.so.2.
Would it be safe to simply link to the new libcapsimage.so.4.2 and then call the link libcapsimage.so.2? |

Can't say for sure because ville9 maintains the ports, but... can't hurt to give it a try. Will point him here in the meantime!

A new build of E-UAE (linked against libcapsimage.so.4) would be better of course...
...but it should work, if you just make a new symbolic link from libcapsimage.so.2 to libcapsimage.so.4.2 |

Apparently it works. I "inserted" a few DOS based IPFs and checked the block & file structure - no errors.
