User's local time in post!

A very simple update, but I'm sure you will like this.
The local time for every user is now displayed in their post. Look to the left to see it in action

That's nice.

One question though. Is that local time for every person or are the times changed to the local? Because if it's the person's local time it might give some problems if you try to find out how long ago a person posted.

it's just the real local time for each user.
(not depending of the post posting time, which is still in your own reference)

It would be extra cool if time could be viewed in 24hour format rather than the AM/PM thing upon preference.

As far as I know the US citizens usually use AM/PM, and I know the most standard thing in Denmark is the 24 hour format.

I personally don't care but I'd think it would be hard to set it up to change depending on person. Otherwise it shouldn't be too hard to get the regional setting of people's computers and react to that. OR just a switch in UserCP.

How about it does what that old coverdisk clock did by writing out times like so:

"it's getting near half past 2!"
"she's almost 25 to 9!"
"jesus, it's just gone 10 past 3!"
"dang, it's almost dinner time, chook!"

etc

Personally I don't care, I have worked out a formula to convert AM/PM to 24 hour time and vice versa so it doesn't really bother me either way

I think it's a good compromise. I realize it's probably only us yanks who want the AM/PM thing, but hey...we can't help it that's the way we were raised to read time. With military time, I find I am having to transpose to figure out what time I am looking at. But I understand everyone else is used to their format. Hopefully, it won't be too much of as pain to make this a switch in the UserCP...
