No kidding...raining ADF's is a perfect choice of words. I go and watch The Brady Bunch, then come back and find this wonderflood! I am going now to start mucking with these gems.

One thing I did notice from the Zone zip displays is the image in the Blizzard.ZIP file is only 102k...is your copy corrupted or did the zone munge the upload (it happens sometimes).

And you're welcomed on the two uppers. Looking forward to your MIA for which I can hopefully do my own raindance!

No chance of getting the adf for this. Transdisk thrashed around for about 1 and a half hours before giving me an image of god knows what.

Another update from me I allready adf´ed REGENT 7-Disk Version and I´m pretty sure I also have POWERPLAY ICEHOCKEY MANAGER somewhere ..... Have to check my disk collection again

Only thing weird at REGENT is, that first Disk is a DOS Disk and the other six are NDOS Disks So I will check the game before uploading !

Good detective work, there. I am assuming there was not a stand-alone Boulderdash game by First Star on Amiga. My reasoning is that Boulderdash (Emerald Mine) was so popular on Amiga that if there had been a stand-alone from the official company, it would be plastered all over the Amiga scene. May not be correct, but that's my guess.

I'm now paying for my cutsey non-TOSEC naming standards and I've lost track of what I've uploaded. I'm going to go rename these properly and then see what's left to upload. I bet you're glad you have a broadband connection.

I explicitly REFUSE to believe that this is a Rainbow Arts game. If they really had released such a crappy piece of junk, it might have happened that they had lost their reputation forever
The game principle is that of Centipede.
Another point against a Rainbow Arts game: they did NEVER copy third-party game ideas, stamp a fresh name on it and sold it as a "Rainbow Arts" game. Never!
They had enough own ideas and didn't require this.

That's the GENIAS game, widely available on TOSEC.
Anyway, this version is non-TOSEC anyway.

-Did you make the DMS of Fighter Mission from an original? Could it have been copy-protected?
-Grand Prix Simulator: looking for the 1991 Code Masters version (tha one posted is 1992/PD/AMOS)
-Emerald Mine 3 Professional: looking for Kingsoft version (the one posted is 1990/No One Inc.)
-Ice Hockey: looking for commercial 1988 Databyte game (the one posted is Turbo Hockey 2/1994/PD)
-Metropolis: looking for 1987 Melbourne House game (the one posted is a game demo, 1992/DIA/PD)
-Stack Up: thanks, but I have the version on compact and the WHD version. Need standalone disk crack.
-Tilt: looking for 1990 Code Masters game, not Genias game (but thanks, as Andreas says it's non-TOSEC!)

I kinda had a hunch R-Type II Amiga Action demo would bomb. Which is why it's so elusive.

I've seen a number of games that have AmigaDOS boot disks and non-DOS for the rest. These usually are HD installable. Hopefully those other disks aren't protected.

I need a couple of things:

1) Does anybody have any original copies of the Deluxe Strip Poker games so that we can compare them with the existing Strip Poker games from Artworx/CDS? I'd really like to get this one sussed out (if they are the same or different).

2) Does anyone know the full titles for the remaining missing Diabolik, Simulman and Tex games?

3) What other Flight Simulator Scenery Disks might be missing from my MIA (other than the obvious ones that already exist, like #7, #11, and Hawaiian Odyssey)?

4) Can somebody who doesn't have a conscience -==- try to crack the existing demo version of "In the Dead of the Night"? It's too good to not have the whole game and it seems unsupported at this time.

Item 1) I'll check on the Strip Poker Deluxe, not sure if I have any originals anymore as I remember selling them with one of my A500's o sooooo many years ago

Item 2) Can't help you with, sorry.

Item 3) Seems to me that subLogic only released a few of these for the Amiga, I can remember the entire set being sold for other systems however. The ones you have listed seems to be the one's I remember them releasing and supposedly more were coming. Also, I think the sections of the US that got mapped were numbered so for instance #7 would correspond to a specific region of the country, but I'm sure everyone already knows this

Item 4) Perhaps Galahad would like to take a crack at it (pun intended!) :laugh

EDIT: well can't locate any of the Strip Poker Deluxe disks, I'm sure I sold them all and don't have anything but copies now

Yeah, if nothing else maybe you can recognize whether it was what you had. I know that the first two (especially #1) could NEVER be referred to as Deluxe, but then who knows what those wacky publishers will do for a buck!

I was pretty sure the whole set of Scenery disks were published for the Amiga. I have even seen ebay auctions selling these rarely seen scenery disks for the Amiga (with pictures of the package that verified their being real). But I stupidly missed buying them. One would almost think Hawaiian Odyssey didn't make it to the Amiga. I don't know of anybody who downloaded that from BBS's back then except for me (and only then because it was such a small file!) If it wasn't for that, it too would probably be on this MIA list today!

Incidently, anyone know where to find data disks for these games for other platforms (like the PC and ST). I'd love to find commercial and PD files for games like FSII, Mean 18, Jack Nicklaus Golf, etc. and you'd think it would be widely available on the net the way it used to be on BBS's and CompuServe back in the old days, but I can't seem to find any repositories for this stuff anywhere!

LOL! Great pun, really. I know those guys hate dealing with games that use AmigaDOS, but maybe this one will be easier since the protection was probably simple (done by the programmer, rather than a specialty house like Northen...)

Every company have their up and downs, why not Rainbow Arts? Perhaps they have two (or more) stinkers, that still doesn't make clouds on the Turricans firmament
