A question on the Winuae old emulator

I've just downloaded the WINUAE 0.8.8 r9 version, and found it is the fastest emulator It runs all my games perfectly, but the sound is a second delayed with a touch of crackling in it.
Does anyone know if there was a sound patch made for this emu that I can download? Or can someone tell me what the next version of this Emu was ... I've been looking for 0.8.9 r1 ( I'mProberly wrong - proberly doesn't exisit) but someone must know what the next version was???
Want this emulator because all the others, when your playing games, it displays a long, white, rectangle box down the right hand side of the screen, and is a bit slower that this one.

In fact A500 compatibility/performance is broken on later WinUAE releases and we're just getting back on the track thanks to Toni Wilen. I remember a horrible WinUAE version that didn't run AGA stuff. It is perhaps the one after 0.8.8r9.

Either use the latest version or 0.8.8r8 (official) 0.8.8r9 (beta)

Have tried using winuae 0.8.8 r8 and everything under, and it runs perfectly. Unfortunatly it does not seem to detect joystick. I am using microsoft sidewinder.

Try DOS Fellow instead of Winfellow.
