Workbench PAttern Image

I'm new to the forum, used to love my amiga, but not played it for about 12 years. Last week I got it up and running on eUAE, and now starting to mess about with it.

I see loads of requests to change the background to an image, in 3.1 with Scalos, and the answer is ou need to go to Settings->Scalos->Pattern in the top left hand menu on the menubar. However my top left menu has only got backdrop (just a tick box), execute command, redraw all, update all, about and quit.

Any help would be great.

For OS 3.1, you set the wallpaper with WBPattern in the Prefs drawer. I don't know if that will work when using ScalOS though.

So you are not using Scalos but the original Workbench.

No it is Scalos, set up as er the instructions on the green amiga alien, where he instructs to change the menu to menu.pre.
