@raindancerob; maybe your friend used a MegaDrive emulator on his Amiga such as DGen to play Sonic?

PS. I know what I've linked to is for OS 4...

OS4. And an A600 isn't fast enough for any Genesis emulator.

So let's sum it up : Noone in the world except your friend and you have played have played Sonic and Sonic 2 on the Amiga. Well, that's a tad odd don't you think?

More to the point, were there MD emulators for Amiga in the late 80's?

have a few questions tho, does the emulator require to be installed, run from a separate disc or how did it work ? reason that i ask is that both Sonic games were on two floppys & they worked straight off the discs without having to do anything else to play the games.

yes, sorry there raindancerob, but that's how we Amiga users are these days, you can't amaze us with anything unless you've got proof.

Sonic 2 was a Mega Drive game so even if that was the case, that leaves Sonic 2 unsolved.

i am starting to believe you, that you honestly believe you have played Sonic 1 and (!!) 2 on the amiga.

However, i'm telling you that you are mistaken. trick of the mind, another similar game perhaps, or some other plausible explanation.

edit:

but then you reply like that:

what does any of what i have said have to do with being a troll ? i know that i have played the games & you dont believe me, that is you opinion & you are entitled to it. however i dont see how calling me a troll is warranted ?
