WTB / WTT: CD32 Plastics
Hello there,
I am on the lookout for CD32 plasic casing, I dont mind if its dirty or scuffed, even a little cracked is fine, but preferebly without a motherboard, but i will take a dead one gots lots of miggy stuff... as well as pc stuff... and cold hard cash (yep pennies that papery stuff dont last long in the wash!) anyway imma guessing this gonna be an unlikely-to-be-filled request but you never know ? cheers |

When I was at Unitech Electronics (Amiga repairer, hardware maker near Sydney) a few years ago the owner had several broken CD32s and empty cases lying around his office so you just never know.
Also, you might find somebody who's towered their CD32 and has a spare case lying around... |

Hey my friend.
You can get it *new* from http://www.vesalia.de "CD32 case (complete and new with reset button and volume control) in original CD32 box (red/black) (Commodore) 49.90 €" ...well, a bit expensive though. I got my new CD32 some weeks ago. I felt like being a teenager back in 1994 getting my first CD32. |

Towering one would suck as they used the old proprietary panasonic interface from memory.... You can't just chuck in an IDE drive and be done with it.
Even with an SX1/32, I doubt it'd still boot from an IDE drive. |
