Stuck on Dragons Of Flame

I remember Dragons of Flame being put on the zone a while back so I was wondering wether anyone could help me out. I'm just no good at the game, can't seem to get anywhere. Any tips?

I can only give a couple of vague tips,that crappy Dragonlance game was difficult-at least Hero's of the Lance was able to be completed.

Basically, you need to head NE to a bridge nearby to where you start & then move south ASAP. If you hang around those initial areas the monsters become overwhelming. In case your stuck on the combat screen after an encounter,press the "*" button on the Numeric keypad to bring you back to the map screen.

Once you head south/SW you need to find Gilthanus (an Elf), who'll help you find the entryway into the fortress.
I can't help further as I only entered it once & died far too often for that travesty game-conversion of the classic Dragonlance series!
