Windows screen lock after restart (WinUAE 5.1.0)

The following happens only when the display settings are Fullscreen.
It didn't happen with v5.0.0.

1. Start the attached configuration.
2. After the Kickstart screen appears, press [F12].
3. Click [Restart].
4. In Chipset, select a different collision level [e.g. "Sprites only"].
5. Click [Start].

The screen goes blank. If no other application/window was open, pressing [ALT]+[TAB] does not produce any result (so it is necessary to invoke the task manager with [CTRL]+[ALT]+[DEL] and then proceed as follows). If another application/window was open, pressing [ALT]+[TAB] at times allows to see the windows previews and thus to close WinUAE by clicking its close gadget.

Notes:
* in the preview window WinUAE says that it's paused;
* step 4 is just one possibility (for example, I discovered the problem when changing CPU model).

Usual question: only happens if Fullscreen? And only if D3D9 fullscreen or D3D11 fullscreen or both?

I hadn't tried with D3D9 before. Now I did, and things get more complicated.

If I use the uaegfx RTG screemode (UAE:1980x1020 32bit BGRA), WinUAE crashes.
More precisely:
a) during boot, with Workbench using the uaegfx screenmode: run WinUAE > start the configuration attached here > crash during boot (I guess as soon as IPrefs does its job; first dump attached here);
b) if I set the Workbench to use a native screenmode, everything works just fine - however, the native setting gets switched to Full-window automatically;
c) if, after booting, I test the uaegfx screenmode from the screenmode preferences, WinUAE crashes (second dump attached here).

WinUAE 5.0.0 doesn't crash, but the RTG colors are all wrong and it switches the native and RTG settings to Full-window automatically.

Due to the fact that the display settings get automatically switched to Full-window, I can't reproduce the original problem (screen "lock") with D3D9.

I just downloaded version 5.2.0 and checked whether it was affected by this issue - it is.
I also found out that it's even simpler to trigger it, in that step 4 is not necessary - i.e. this is enough :
1. Start the configuration attached to the OP.
2. After the Kickstart screen appears, press [F12].
3. Click [Restart].
5. Click [Start].
