Sonic The Hedgehog - Amiga

i have read alot of posts on various sites about Sonic The Hedgehog for the Amiga not being released when i was looking to download it. it appears that everyone seems to think that it never made it to the Amiga. when i was younger i used to play on my friends A600 & one of the games that we used to play was Sonic The Hedgehog, it was the same as the Mega Drive version in everyway, basically it was a port & was a copied disc. i spent a large portion of my childhood playing it. i would be interested to hear if anyone else has played on this ported version ?

There is no Sonic version for the Amiga (well except some tries to remake/convert it). Really, no Sonic on the Amiga.

Please, I remember playing beat'em-up Punisher on my Amiga, but only because after years something is wrong with our memories.

Well, then it seems that you and your friend were the only ones that had that luck. Until now I've never heard that anyone played Sonic (full version) on his Amiga, let alone Sonic 2...

i'm afraid to say you are.

you might as well say black = white because you once used a zebra crossing.

why not dig out your old disks and prove any doubters wrong if you are so confident about it?

@raindancerob: well you certainly did master the art of quoting and replying to the most of the posts here, but how about ANY proof?

as i said above it was my friends A600 that we used to play it on, so it wasnt my disc. also he died he was in his late teens. however i moved away a few years before so we lost contact before then.

well then you must accept the fact your memory is playing tricks on you. there has never been a version of Sonic for the Amiga, other than recent attempts to create a clone / remake.

no proof = no argument.
