changing translation from .dll to textfile

still no german translation for 3.4.0 and i'm not able to edit .dll for translation:
is it possible to change the way, translations are loaded and used in winuae?
a step away from loading .dll to some sort of textfile containing translation?
using simple textfile would make much more easier contributing translations.
this way i could translate winuae gui myself, wouldn't have to wait anymore.

Not really, it is Windows feature to allow resource data to come from DLL, replacing the original data.

Text version is included with WinUAE sources (od-win32/resource/winuae.rc and resource.h), compiling it with resource compiler creates resource dll. There may be easy utilities that can do this.
