changing translation from .dll to textfile
still no german translation for 3.4.0 and i'm not able to edit .dll for translation:
is it possible to change the way, translations are loaded and used in winuae? a step away from loading .dll to some sort of textfile containing translation? using simple textfile would make much more easier contributing translations. this way i could translate winuae gui myself, wouldn't have to wait anymore. |

Not really, it is Windows feature to allow resource data to come from DLL, replacing the original data.
Text version is included with WinUAE sources (od-win32/resource/winuae.rc and resource.h), compiling it with resource compiler creates resource dll. There may be easy utilities that can do this. |
