Kid Chaos CD32

Hi Toni. Thanks for new beta. Now Fightin' Spirit works correctly. But in the new betas I noticed new problems with two CD32 games. First game - Kid Chaos. Game boots correctly, but before menu screen the game goes to amigados screen appears (the music runs in the backround correctly). Second game - Quik The Thunder Rabbit. I have several problems with this game. First - sometimes (!) I can't see intro screens. I see white and than completly black screen, but the music works correctly. Second - in the menu SND = 160% (!). Third - in the game I can't jump (?), but the rest of the inputs runs good. I use XBOX360 controller. Here is my configs:

I can't duplicate. (you sure this is "new problem"?)

This isn't new problem

Quik is special case, it is quite badly coded and requires better 68020 CPU timing, it works worse in cycle-exact mode.

Jump is another issue but I don't think it is new either

In WinUAE 1.6.0 both games working very good (only in Quik The Thunder Rabbit the screen is flashing on the loading screens)

Does not really mean anything else than that cd/image is not corrupted.

Does Kid Chaos work if you use built-in image mounting? (I assume F:\ "UZITIDY/2V4PMF0LY/1.03" is some virtual cd drive?)

Use winuae.zip linked above.

Was b4 last working version? (your image is broken if this is true, read method changed to raw 2352 sectors in b5)

2.1.0 != 2.2.1/2.3.0

I'll move these posts later but one more test needed: which was last working 2.2.0 beta that worked? (check 2.2.0 beta thread for links)

(This is about Kid Chaos, nothing else)

Does it work in later versions if use quickstart middle compatibility setting?

Quik does not need any checking, button issue is already solved and other problems are due to way game is done. (cpu timing, sometimes it works accidentally)

Many AGA/CD32 games don't work in cycle exact mode yet, some work better in "normal" mode, some won't work in any mode

68020 CE is work in progress.
