I wanted to do a test using in this case "Windows 11"
without the use of the GPU is in fact both DirecX and openGL do not work with "Heaven Benchmark". then I applied the files I attached And everything works perfectly with the RTX 2060 Now the difficult thing is to use it with Linux. Here a complete video without the GPU and then with the application of the attached files and the tests in OpenGL and DirectX. [ Show youtube player ] |

I worked on it a bit
Using only the PowerShell with "WSL2" (( without using the Hyper-V interface )) I did a lot of testing and testing and read a bit to understand. I think I succeeded Now I can use Linux with Windows 10 The 2060 RTX GPU is integrated into Linux with proprietary drivers. The result is excellent (at least I think) This will allow me to do many things with WinUAE (I think) The base is ready now I just have to compile Qemu I hope the result is good. I only have a 2060 RTX but the result is excellent Here the nvidia 2060 running linux while i'm using windows 10 [ Show youtube player ] |

I need to refine a few things
I've only been using WSL2 for a few days Qemu works great. I put Morphos as Test because I have to find all the files dedicated to AmigaOS 4.1 and the various configurations. Here I used the latest version of Qemu 8.0 RC2. separate note: I compiled only the part dedicated to PowerPC to do faster Really interesting to use WSL2 @coldacid @All What i can't find is the configuration file to figure out how to manage the processors in use. (wsl.conf.wslconfig) I can't find them Anyone know where to find them ? Thank you here I used it only in shell without launching the Linux Desktop: here Morphos with Qemu I used old commands emulating the ati 128. just to try: [ Show youtube player ] |

.wslconfig is in your Windows user profile directory (e.g. C:\Users\username) while wsl.conf is in the /etc directory of each WSL filesystem. The
[wsl2]processorsvalue in .wslconfig lets you state how many cores / logical processors to assign to the WSL2 virtual machine (keep in mind that all your WSL2 distros share the same VM). https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/wi...wsl/wsl-config |

@coldacid
Thanks for the reply, I have one last question :-) Which is what would allow me to do many things. The example is simple I would like to communicate with AmiCygniX with an external IP. Do you know an easy way to do this that you've already used? Basically I simply connect to the Linux shell with AmiCygniX via SSHTerm. I already do this with the steps we talked about in previous posts but through VMWare with Npcap. Now I would like to do it with WSL2, this would also allow me to use Qemu over the network. Thanks for any advice. I was following this video that I found as an example on Youtube: [ Show youtube player ] Here is a small discussion on the subject: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/...-local-network side note: I solved with WinUAE the problem of the continuous request of the Windows APP-STORE with ltsc 2021. While with the ltsc 2019 version I didn't have this request. |
