I've got AmigaE setup, I could take a little look?

I'm not promising anything as I'm only used to compiling my own programs, and none of mine include ASM but it's worth a go maybe?

Yes, it was published as well.

You can find hints and tips on several italian forums related to adventures.

You can download the source codes of the first episode at the following address:

http://www.farenga.it/amiga/sa1.lha

Please mantain the original credits (and add yours) if you publish anything. Thanks!

Fabrizio

PS: Source comments are in Italian, good luck! ;-)

Can you check the archive at your end? I've tried downloading it but it gives me a crc error when I try and extract it.

The file with the error is Montagne5.LBM

I'm a bit confused now, because you say "as well". The Amiga version wasn't published but the MS-DOS version was?

Yes. Sorry, my english is not perfect.

The Amiga version was not published. Only the MS-Dos version found his way to the shops.

I sorted out the problem. It seems to be a multipart LHA file. The link I provided was to the first part only.

Now I made a zip with all the five parts. I don't know how to extract a multipart LHA on a PC. Maybe you should try to use LHA on an Amiga Emulator.

I've just extracted the lha's with no problems, looks quite promising...

There is a lot of Italian text so it would take some time to translate, but it's compiling fine so it should be ok as long as the strings are kept the same length.

Were the four episodes sold seperately (so it's actually four games of one series instead of one game) like the Simulmondo series Diabolik, Dylan Dog etc.? Then it might be better to have HOL entries for each as it is the case with the others. Found an Italian solution here: http://www.biffuz.it/misc/storia_ancestrale.html

Yes, it was planned to be sold separately.

After the english version is done (and before the recompilation, of course) I can translate it to Brazilian Portuguese.

Yes it is. And it is even mentioned on the page where from you can download The Ancestral Trail game.
