Strange operation DPaint 5
emachine T3516, 3.2 ghz celeron D. ATI Radeon xpress 200 series video. winuae 1.1.1
DPaint 5 strange operation. Selecting a menu causes a shadow of the menu to be formed at the menu location. Floating dialog boxes do not cause a shadow. Matter of fact if the floating dialog (fill dialog for instance) is moved around the picture then the menus do not leave shadows. The floating dialog must be redone after each paint operation. It seems that paint operations reset the menu shadow operation. Operation is same at 16 or 32 bit. The previous winuae machime, a 733mhz Dell retired Autocad workstation, does not produce these artifacts. I really don't want to use the 733mhz any longer. Thanks, Rich |

Do you use the patch Magic Menu in your Workbench setup?
I remember that caused the same issues for me. Once I removed it, or used an older version, no problems. |

Yoo Hoo!!!
Magic Menu is a commodity.
Run exchange, selet magic menu. Set as inactive. DPaint5 works. When finished. Run exchange, selet magic menu. Set as active. Magic Menu works. Thanks for the help! |
