I've used a couple of the original Basics and Hisoft Basic.

Also tried Amos.

I'm now trying to learn C so that's the current language I'm using.

I use C but not because I like it, the syntax sucks. It's just the language that the code I'm working on was using already and most of the documentation is written in.

I'm also looking into the Oberon-A Oberon2 compiler on Aminet. It seems to have more modern features than C but the fact that it hasn't been developed since 1995 seems to hurt its chances.

Assembler because 68k stuff is supposed to be coded in asm (Or: What pmc said).

I used AMOS (2002) and then AMOS Pro (2004-ish). Both are great for writing useful programs. I have written a few useful tools using it too.
All my current stuff is now on Aminet - search for "ADBs" (without quotes) to find all my stuff. Everything, except the Jungle Beat mod, was written using AMOS and/or AMOS Pro.

Why AMOS? It was the first programming language I came across after buying a second-hand Amiga in 2002. Theres loads of support for AMOS all over the net.

I currently do programming in assembler (using Devpac 3.18), but switch to AMOS Pro if I need something done quick and easily (e.g. take ASCII data and encrypt it).
Why Devpac? Same as AMOS, it was the first assembly language editor that I came across and as such have learned to use version 2 and know it quite well. I didn't upgrade to Devpac 3.18 until a few months back.

Smile

Bought New Hard drive and Installed Amospro and update Amospro 2.0v

Why Amos? It so easy to code them and it got ton of tutorials for it....

Assembler? Some people love it and some people dont love it because they seem think it is waste of time or it is kinda hard to code them but everyone is different

I only recently came back to Amiga programing (january of this year) affter a 11 years break (i did not code a single line of code for the Amiga in these 11 years).

I code in assembler, why ? because i coded in assembler already on it before my break Especially the game i made was in assembler so to continue it now i have to use assembler.

I could as well programm in c or even c++. I love c++ and the object oriented programmation

Guess when i get back to PC programming, i'll go with C++ . I'm strange too

You can do object orientation in assembler, if you want.
