Super, I have the upgrade video that Stephen created:

[ Show youtube player ]

Question - can power be used from the Raspberry Pi to program the TF330/TF328 board out of the CD32? Or does it need to be fitted inside and the CD32 turned on?
I don't really want to take the cover off my CD32 and I not sure my cables are long enough to pass out the back of the CD32 (if there is room).

Reset Button - so you press it and the CD32 resets as normal with a TF330? (It resets fine using my TF328)

You need to provide +5V to the card for programming through the power header. The +5V should be available via USB, but as I don't own a raspberry pi myself, I cannot be certain. But in theory it should be possible.

Alternatively you can also reprogram the card while it's plugged into the CD32 and the console turned on, even if it's not ideal, although you'd have to take the top cover off.

Yes, that's how it behaves on mine.

Thanks

No problems here with the reset button, works as it should.

i would be interested in the firmware update, but unfortunately have no way to do it

The person you bought it from can do it for you.

You can use the Raspberry pi to power the the TF330, its pin 1 on the GPIO on the Pi so you do not need a CD32 so you can program it just from your laptop or PC
Its works as I`ve done it
