The guy on ebay with 20+ of the K1 cards seems to have run out of them since today.

So, what's this guy's ebay 'nick' or the item number?
I've seen a few cards that look like the centre card from Dennis Boon's pages, (on ebay as item # 232295973944 - which is a PRPMC800 with 128MB - but we're talking about £1,000+ for this card, for this or the other 2 sellers via USA on ebay) - that's the card between the Sonnet (right) the Rapture (bottom left) and the Expansion card (top left) - so the card basically central to the 4 cards - that is supposed to plug into - the expansion card that has a long PCI card edge and has 2 pairs of parallel connectors that connect into the 4 connectors on the PRPMC800 NIC PPC board - which I don't know the name of ATM - if someone could identify which one it is. It can't be the back of the Killer NIC K1 or M1 cards as their PCI based anyway? So which card is the one the same as item # 232295973944, which in this item seems to have 128MB on-board, and the Killer NIC only has 64MB anyway. Is it the Ragnarok or the Apocalypse? Again, this topic is not about the more expensive cards. Which were not so expensive 6 months ago, btw. I bought 3 raptures 15 dollar each.
Anyway, for those not so cheap cards, use the sonnet thread. For the K1 see <nevermind, they are out of stock at this vendor> |

The only problem with item #362416107823 is that the seller - dell-batteries does not sell outside USA, so they're a non-starter for anyone this side of the Atlantic, or anywhere that isn't in the USA, it seems.
However, I appreciate you updating the thread with the information ... I'll keep looking for one . . . within my budget. |
