Lol, it seems they are turning on you TCD. Youre losing your influence.

In the zone for you,
dont understand me wrong, i like to help, but what about ripping for yourself the module. In this case its a simple thing, module is recognized and is not inside any strange packed datas. |

Cheers bro. Will have a look.
@mai: I guess you mentioned Noisepacker 3 so I would know that I cant play it in my tracker?! I know now haha. I will try to rip it myself then cause I must look at the patterns every now and then. |

Maybe we should ask Crown about it then. I find it rather strange that the version on AMP is bad

The version on "AMP" page sounds ok to me, seems to be nothing wrong with the samples. |

Okay, so I guess 4-Mat made small changes for the version included in the demo (or later enhanced the song). However good to have both versions then

Its funny how songs that arent too popular with me tend to grow really big. Im now at work and all I hear in my head is this song. Cant wait to turn up the volume knob when I get home later.

hello,
For the record, I think Noisepacker 3 didn't handle E9* effect. Source and replay are here : http://www.amiga-stuff.com/files/mod...ePacker3.0.lha So I guess the effect was lost at conversion time to NP3. Cya Sylvain |

Yeah if I remember correctly the original track had E9x commands in and Noisepacker didn't support them. (think the same thing happened in the soundtrack to 'Hardcore') I remember seeing some previews of the 'Sea of Dreams' demo mentioned in 'Krestmas', it was looking very promising.

I know that song was very carefully selected for the demo based on the fact that out of the choice of modules it was the smallest

@ 4mat:
just being curious. what do you think of being the proper sounding version. the e9x uncapable noisepacker3 or the plain mod on amp? btw. that bug in np3 is cool to know, asle. Something for my todo list. |

I reckon the one in the demo is the 'true' version, the original sounds weird now.
iirc I think the song was chosen just because it was the only track unused and Critical Mass wanted to release the demo fast while he was working on 'Sea of Dreams'. With the Anarchy stuff I rarely knew which songs were going into demos until they released them. (Phantasmagoria and In the Kitchen were the exceptions) It's a shame I don't have any of my disks anymore, had some of the other routines for 'Sea of Dreams' and also a few of Kreator's fx that were going to be in the follow-up to 'Phantasmagoria' iirc. |

Well I wont argue with you seeing as its your name on the demo, my memory must be failing me in my old age with what he said. I always thought it was a shame he took the manual control of the space ship out for the release.
