Got a HDisk, what can i put on it?

Got a 27mb hard disk emulated with workbench installed. The only games I have are adf's so I'm going to struggle to install them on to the hard disk. Can anyone therefore suggest any other good games or apps that I can just install without having to use WHDLOAD.

Wings comes to mind. IMHO one of the kewlest games for the amiga... I think cinemaware (the creators) have released it for download on their website... have fun. I think it you download two adfs which you can then install on your emulated hard disk.

Have a look at Back to the Roots (http://www.back2roots.org/).

You can find harddisk games there.

BTW, if you've got a harddisk that's only 27 mb, I believe you've created an Amiga harddisk file. It's better to just create a directory under windows and select that as your Amiga harddisk, because it's faster. And why don't you want to use WHDLOAD?

i don't mind using whdload but i didn't think it worked for most adf games

Most games can be installed with WHDLoad. You just have to find the right version, wich usually are specified in an included readme file.

Since most ADFs are pirate copies, yes, WHDLoad will not work for many of them.

But you can dload complete WHDLoad preinstalled games from places...
