A few things here - firstly, wow - Group D is a stonker!

Secondly, I've very much dug my own grave with that draw, I feel

Thirdly (and most importantly), we've been discussing how to handle players who are tied on points. It's tricky but the only practical solution so far is to give priority to the player who got the score first. Not sure if it's ideal or totally fair so if anybody else has an idea then feel free to post. Otherwise it'll have to be that one I think.

Not bad for my 2nd attempt (on my 1st go I only made it to the 3rd race!).

Woo hoo! This is without a doubt the best performance I have ever made in the hard level of Lotus, but will it be enough to secure my place in the next round?

Graham, how about a link to the relevant super league thread in the first post, se we can check out what kind of scores people got in that round.

Just had a brainwave (yeah, I know, it's a rarity). In the case of tied scores, we could have a tie-breaker - the fastest time on track one. It's optional, but you need to take a picture of the final positions after the first track as that has your finishing time on it - and it must come from the same session as the score you post.

As I say, you don't have to do this but you will obviously will be disadvantaged if you end up with the same score as another player. And in the event that both times posted are exactly the same, then the player who posted it first will then have priority.

Shame I thought of this idea too late to influence this score but it's naff anyway - this pic came just prior to Greece (and it was clearer than the final pic I took) and I came unstuck on that very track...

Quite a satisfying score for a first play.
Unfortunately, havent read EAB just before playing and can not provide a screenshot of my 1st level time.

And to John4p: I would have played Pinball Dreams still a bit if there werent 20 qualifying places...

I've got some problems with this game... no matter which version am I using (even that one posted in this thread) after playing 1st race the game don't want to go to the next race instead of that it is restarting whole game. I'm playing on non-registered WhdLoad - is this the problem? Ohh one more thing, I'm playing on real Commodore CDTV, not WinUAE.

If you read Grahams post again you will see that this is just an idea he had which it seems is not going to be implimented this time around. So don't worry too much, just be sure to post your score early in care of a tie.

Oh, and I agree that is a pretty good score. I'm glad you're not in my group.

Read again - it is and will be implemented for tied scores. Only in case of same times the first one wins:

Hmm...I guess if both don't post a time then the first one wins, too (because both needed infinite time).

Okay. But maybe then you might've gotten a much better score and ended in the same seeding group as I (or xpect&capehorn).

Well, I have managed to beat my previous score, but it's still very much beatable

I did pretty well today, and a new best for Antartica (12th) - though I was actually in 10th until I pitted

You must be confusing something - we only have xpect in our group. Biscuit is competing in group B.
