I am having the same issue here. Just bought the PCMCIA transfer kit from Amigakit do to the same thing. What's wierd is the 4gb flash card containing my old Workbench setup loads fine if I boot it from the internal card reader, but shows uninitialised when I go to read it with the adaptor. It is an Amigakit pre-loaded flash card too.

It has to be formatted as FAT32.
