Sound from Video Toaster, not working
My A4000 toaster card doesn't get recognized at startup and crashes when I try to launch any associated program with it.
There is a very faint high pitched sound coming from it. Resistors or some such problem failing? |

Try the manual adjustment procedure first.

There is a variable resistor on the toaster card. If I remember you want to adjust to 2.1 volt. I believe it is in the toaster manual on which contact you read from. If that voltage is way off you will get nothing but issues trying to start the toaster.

I just noticed some greenish corrosion on one of the daughterboards contact. Tried cleaning to no avail. |
