Gotek & Saving Games Again

I know this has been spoken of here as I have searched it out but still cannot seem to find a definitive answer.

Before I jump in and buy a Gotek I have a question.

How are things with saving games now, I was reading that people used to have problems with doing this, I assume that
with later firmware such FlashFloppy things are better now in the save game department ?

Thanks

I was actually wondering this too, my GoTeK has HxC - can I use a save disk with games like Lucasarts adventures or EOTB and similar?

Yep, both FF and HxC are good options.

OK, could somebody layout the process to save a game to an adf using a Gotek and the Flashfloppy Firmware please ?

As in should the blank adfs be formatted or not ?
As in where would be the best place to store the blank adf floppy files on the USB ?
As in the process to follow when the game asks for a save game disk ?

It all depends on the particular game. Some games can save games to any blank AmigaDOS formatted disk, others will require a specially formatted savegame disk. Just do like you would do if you were using real floppies and check that the image you are using for save games is not read-only (or it will look like a write-protected floppy).
